Why Do I Start A Million Stories?

Many of you probably wonder why I write a bunch of different stories, rather than focus on one.  The truth is, that's how I've always written.  I am very hypercritical of the writing I do, and a lot of the time if I "force" myself to write on one particular story, I'm not happy with the chapter that came out.  I use to do that on the Nikita stories that I've now posted here, and I feel like those chapters kind of kill the energy if I was not in the mood to work on that story, or if I didn't have an idea.

Mostly, I write for practice.  If someone(s) took a big interest in one of my stories, I probably would focus on it and update it as often as I could.  But right now I'm not a popular writer, heck, I don't even believe I'm a great writer, and so I practice, and practice, and practice.  This is the same reason you may see stories that are similar main plots but twisted different ways or featuring different characters.  I use these to explore writing the same thing with different characters, or different major events to challenge my writing and see what I can come up with.

I'd like to point out too, if you have an idea, by all means send it to me.  If you have an idea stuck but can't write it yourself the way you want, I will always take on a challenge.  It makes writing more fun and interesting when you're challenged to write something you did not come up with, or something that goes the way someone else wants instead of what you would normally do.

So hopefully, if you're here, you don't mind my ADHD writing style and maybe even enjoy a story of mine.  Let me know, because if I get a lot of feedback it's kind of inspirational to continue that story.  Keep watching because I have a bunch of stories I've started in my writing notebooks (yes, I still start the writing process in that archaic manor) and will hopefully be publishing soon when I type them and/or get them to the way I feel is best.

Cheers,
Garbygal
